AFCON 2019: Senegal join Benin at the quarter finals

Senegal Lions on Friday defeated Uganda Cranes 1-0 at the 8 final of the Total Egypt Africa Cup of Nations. Hence they grap their ticket for the quarter final of the competition thanks to a lone goal of Sadio Mane who missed also a penalty which could have secured the victory in the first half.
Senegal were faced a strong Ugandan team that gave a hard time to their goal keeper Alfred Gomis obliging him to do a second clean sheet after he was ungently lined up to replace Edouard Mendy who had a finger broken.
Coach aliou Cisse Boys will meet in the quarter final Benin who surprisingly defeated Morocco earlier in the evening 4-1 after penalty shoot out.They had a 1-1 draw after exta time.
