AFCON 2019 : Senegal made a good debut against Tanzania

The Senegal National Team beat Tanzania (2-0) in the first group C match of the African Cup of nations played on Sunday in the Cairo June 30 Stadium
Senegal dominated the match but they could break the deadlock only at the 28th minute by Keita Balde.
The lions kept on pushing until which resulted in scoring a second goal by Krepin Diatta , at the 65th minute . The Taifa Stars were fortunate note to have conceded many nore goals.
The only false note in this match is central defender Safif Sane injury.The Senegalese Schalke 04 international got his left ankle injured after a duel with a Tanzanian stiker and was substituted by Cheikhou Kouyaté in the 20th minute.
Senegal second goal scorer Krepin Diatta was also chosen as the man of the match.
In the second match of Group C, Algeria also defeated Kenya by 2 goals to 0. Senegal and Algeria have both 3 points before they lock horns next Thursday in the group C second day match.
