It was certainly hard for the lions not to win the match against Japan on Sunday. But the training session held Monday on their base in Kaluga showed that they had been able to digest this bitter pill.
Coach Aliou Cisse worked with only players who were not lined up during the match against Japan and that was an opportunity for them to be more fit and ready to play. The good ambiance in the training pitch reached the hotel where some of Cisse ‘s boys were even playing the Piono and received the applause of their teammates .
That beautiful attitude is totally linked to their status as professional that imposes a good mind set which will certainly help them control and eventually defeat their next opponent Colombia, on Thursday. The Lions will depart to Samara on Wednesday for their last group match but before departure they will train this Tuesday in Kaluga with the team in its full.
