In Saturday’s pre-match press conference,Senegal’s winger Sadio Mané repeated the same statement as his captain before Senegal’s first match against Poland. Saying that the most important thing is to play a collective block and not focus on individualities. According to Mane they will attack together and defend together to defeat an aggressive and talented Japanese team. Mane doesn’t overestimate his team but he is confident because he knows they are good and they will play with the same commitment they had when they locked horns with Poland. Coach Aliou Cissé backed Mane up saying thay Senegal is aware of the challenge of meeting Japan which is a qualification to the knock out phase. So he will do everything to win the match and reach the next phase of the ompetition. Senegal coach did not want to disclose his strategy for the match but he is clear about the opinion of the Japan coach, presenting Senegal as favorite. He says he will not reject his responsibilities and then will do his best to win the match. Senegal and Japan beat Poland and Colombia respectively 2-1 and are leading group H. The kickoff time is 3 PM (Dakar time) in Yekaterimbour . The other match of the group between Colombia and Poland will be held in Kazan.
