Senegal U20 national football team won the WAFU / B tournament trophy, after their 2-0 victory to Nigeria in the final of the tournament held on Sunday in Lomé, the Togolese capital.
Both teams started the game well but no goals could be scored in the first half.
It was only in the second half, precisely in the 47th minute that Senegal scored the first goal of the game with an excellent shot by Amadou Sagna. They increased the tally 24 minutes later on a shot by Youssouf Badji who received a good pass from Ibrahima Drame. The score did not change until the end of the game.
Senegal’s Youssouf Badji was the top scorer in this competition with four goals. His teammate Dialy Kobaly Ndiaye got the trophy of best goalkeeper, as for the trophy of best player of the tournament, it was given to Malian Aboubacar Kante.
