Senegal defeated South Africa 1-0 on Wednesday and qualify for the U20 Africa cup of nations which is taking place in Niger.
The South African defense block was able to repel the repeated assaults of the Senegalese attack until the 70th minute when Givemore Khupe scored against his side, following a personal exploit from Niang.
For the final to be played Sunday, Senegal will lock horns with Mali who ousted Nigeria earlier in the afternoon. The Senegal squad, which is still looking for the continental title, will play the third final in a row in this competition. They will be challenged by a Malian squad who are also very eager to grasp that trophy they has never won.
