Senegal ousted from CHAN 2020

Senegal national team has been eliminated from the African Nations Championship (CHAN) Cameroon 2020 By Guinea. The match played on Sunday in Conakry gave the advantage to host country aftr the penalty shootout (3-1)
During regular time, Guinea won the game 1-0 but the score was not enough to take Sily to the next stage of the tournament because they were beaten 1- 0 in the first leg played one month earlierin Thies.
The African Nations Championship (CHAN) is a tournament which takes place every other year and in which the national teams exclusively feature players who play their trade in the domestic league of their home country.
This is the 3rd time in a row after the 2016 and 2018 editions that Guinea oust Senegal from this competition
Home based Lions took part in the first two éditions of CHAN in 2009 and in 2011. They then had false hope for the other four editions (2014, 2016 and 2018 and 2020).
