Senegal U20 make it for AFCON Niger 2019

Senegal U20 squad on Saturday qualified for the final of the AFCON U20 Niger 2019 .

They defeated their congolese counterparts 4-1in the return leg match of the last stage qualifyers  played  in Dakar. In the away match, the teams had a 2-2 draw in Brazzaville.

At home, the young lions started well the match giving no option to the Congolese and scored two goals at the end of the first half time.

In the early munites of the second half the lions increased the tally, before scroring the fourth goal in the last fifteen munites.

The Congolese  ran after the ball for a long time and finally scored their goal at the end of the match.

With this win , Senegal will participate for the third time in the AFCON U20 after the one they hosted in 2015 and the one Zambia hosted in 2017.

The next U20 AFCON is billed for February –March 2019 in  Niger.
